Leadership

You need new skills to lead in today’s changing world of work. Today’s leader is a change agent, facilitator, motivator, teacher and scientist.
Many of the leadership courses of yesteryear are not geared up to equip you with the resources to deal with the new era of work.
Today, work is altogether global, 24/7, uncontrollable and unpredictable.
It radically challenges what we’ve accepted as the norm in terms of knowledge, power, decision-making and influence.
As the world continues to change, the weight on the shoulders of tomorrow’s leaders is greater than ever before. That’s why in our management training, we look not just at how you can be a phenomenal leader but also at how the world is changing. Context is as powerful as Content.
The difference between our leadership training and the management training offered by many other organizations is that we are future focused.
New Era Leadership
Our world is currently transitioning to a new era. And the transition is the greatest our generation will see.
As we move from the industrial era when management was predictable and controllable, leaders are discovering that the new era is unpredictable and in many ways uncontrollable.
Management training is critical at all levels. We believe that the answer to successful leadership lies in the way we see the world and the questions we ask. Traditional management training has tended to focus on answers. Such as, “when a happens, enact strategy b”
This doesn’t make much sense to us because such an approach presumes we have answers. When every situation is different. Every context unique. And every problem profound.
Instead we focus on questions. And focus on asking the right questions.
Leadership – It’s in the Questions You Ask
We have a range of courses and offer tailored solutions. We work extensively with our business partner, Finnerty International in Ohio.
In particular we offer a ground-breaking half-day seminar, It’s the Questions You Ask to get people started on the hard work of really preparing to lead the future. We’ve developed it with Madeline Finnerty PhD.
The seminar involves the first steps in reflecting on the changes we see and starting the journey to the new era leadership.
Management Training
We also offer a range of traditional management courses with a ‘new era’ spin. They include time management, supervisor skills, feedback, motivation and how to unleash the potential of your staff.
We’ve offered our workshops around the world. We generally tailor each workshop to meet specific client needs. We also work with our clients to develop exercises that involve issues relevant to their specific workplaces.
