Audio, video, text and animation are different formats we can use to convey information.  Each method has its own set of strengths and weaknesses when it comes to conveying different types of information.

In groups of four or five people, list what types of information is easily conveyed well, and what types of information is not easily conveyed well in the following formats:

  • Video
  • Audio
  • Text
  • Animation

As you discuss this, look at the examples below.  After you have done this, your group will report back to the larger group so it is a good idea to select a spokesperson.
